April 9, 2011: Palatine, IL 60067 Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse team nip the host Fremd Vikings (Palatine, IL), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lincoln-Way Central/Lincoln-Way East/Lincoln-Way West/Lincoln-Way North for a South Suburban challenge on Wednesday, April 13. Homewood-Flossmoor will meet a team coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The record now stands at 2-4.
In their next game, the Vikings meet the Barrington Broncos/Fillies (Barrington, IL) in a Mid Suburban challenge, on Thursday, April 14. Fremd will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record.
