October 10, 2014: Worcester, MA 01602 The Doherty Memorial Highlanders football team (Worcester, MA), was beaten 24-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Leominster Blue Devils (Leominster, MA)
The Blue Devils (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA). The Chieftains come into the Midland Wachusett - A challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Nashoba Regional achieved victory over Marlborough (Marlborough, MA), 21-14, in a non-league challenge.
The Highlanders now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North for a Inter-High challenge on Friday, October 17. Doherty Memorial will meet a Polar Bears team coming off a 42-0 non-league win over Oxford (Oxford, MA). The Polar Bears record now stands at 4-1.
