September 27, 2013: Huxley, IA 50124 The Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA) football overcame the host Ballard Bombers (Huxley, IA), 35-14 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Toreadors clash with the Iowa Falls Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 4. Boone will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Cadets enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 32-14 league loss to Charles City (Charles City, IA).
The Bombers (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against South Tama County (Tama, IA). The Trojans enter the 3A District 4 bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, South Tama County thwarted Saydel (Des Moines, IA), 56-16, in a league bout.
