Massachusetts High School Basketball - Boston English nips Durfee
February 8, 2010: Fall River, MA 02720 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Boston English Bulldogs (Boston, MA) and the host Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA), saw Boston English's basketball squad hold off Durfee by a score of 87-85.
With the victory, Boston English improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to New Mission (Boston, MA) to battle the Titans in a Boston City - South challenge on Wednesday, February 10. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 18-1.
Next up, the Hilltoppers battle the New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) in a Big Three challenge, on Friday, February 12. Durfee will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Whalers come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 81-65 league loss to Brockton (Brockton, MA).
