California High School Basketball - Rancho Cucamonga can't hold off Arcadia
December 15, 2009: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91701 The Arcadia Apaches basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Rancho Cucamonga Cougars to 74 in the Apaches non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Apaches now hold a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Paul for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 26. Arcadia will play a Swordsmen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA). The Swordsmen record now stands at 4-4.
Next up, the Cougars play the Villa Park Spartans (Villa Park, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 22. Rancho Cucamonga will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 75-59 non-league loss to Montebello (Montebello, CA).
