Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Vista del Lago Eagles (Folsom, CA) and the host River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA), saw Vista del Lago's basketball squad hold off River City by a score of 57-56.

With the victory, Vista del Lago improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host El Dorado (Placerville, CA) to play the Cougars in a Sierra Valley challenge on Friday, January 28. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 16-3. El Dorado won 56-38 in their recent league challenge against River City (West Sacramento, CA)
