September 30, 2006: Billerica, MA 01821 Shawsheen Valley Tech Rams (Billerica, MA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Manchester Essex/Rockport Hornets (Manchester, MA), 35-15 in a non-league challenge.
The Rams now sport a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pathfinder RVT for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 6. Shawsheen Valley Tech will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 29-0 league loss to Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Manchester Essex/Rockport moves to 3-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 7. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Whittier RVT won 42-29 in their recent non-league contest against Georgetown (Georgetown, MA)
