The Granada-Huntley-East Chain Mustangs (Granada, MN) basketball felled the visiting Martin County West Mavericks (Sherburn, MN), 46-33 in Saturday's league test.

The Mustangs (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Cleveland (Cleveland, MN). The Clippers go into the Valley test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Cleveland went down by Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN), 54-45, in a league test.

The Mavericks now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Truman for a Valley test on Tuesday, December 6. Martin County West will clash with a Bluejays squad coming off a 56-42 non-league loss to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Bluejays record now stands at 0-1.
