North Carolina High School Basketball - Huss tops East Gaston

January 2, 2015: Gastonia, NC 28052

Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), 62-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Huss upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Huskies host Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC) to play the Knights in a 2A/3A Big South bout on Tuesday, January 6. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Lake Norman Charter won 78-55 in their recent league bout against Stuart Cramer (Belmont, NC)

Next up, the Warriors play the Ashbrook Green Wave (Gastonia, NC) in a 2A/3A Big South bout, on Tuesday, January 6. East Gaston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Green Wave come into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 64-29 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC).
