California High School Softball - Washington Union bounces Yosemite
April 27, 2010: Fresno, CA 93706 Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA), 17-7 in a league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 18-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kerman for a North Sequoia challenge on Friday, April 30. Washington Union will battle a Lions squad coming off a 7-2 league win over Sierra (Tollhouse, CA). The Lions record now stands at 21-4.
With the loss, Yosemite falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Liberty (Madera, CA) to battle the Hawks in a Southwest Sierra challenge on Friday, April 30. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 17-5. Liberty won 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA)
