California High School Basketball - Loyola tops El Camino Real

January 25, 2014: Woodland Hills, CA 91367

Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host El Camino Real Conquistadors (Woodland Hills, CA), 67-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Loyola upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Cubs host Alemany (Mission Hills, CA) to play the Warriors in a Mission bout on Monday, January 27. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 14-6. Alemany lost 63-60 in their recent league bout against Chaminade (West Hills, CA)

Next up, the Conquistadors play the Cleveland Cavaliers (Reseda, CA) in a West Valley bout, on Wednesday, January 29. El Camino Real will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 80-76 league win over Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA).
