Kentucky High School Basketball - Wayne County fells Paintsville
December 23, 2010: Monticello, KY 42633 Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY), 68-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Wayne County upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to play the Scotties in a non-league bout on Monday, December 27. The Scotties come into the bout with a record of 7-0. Glasgow won 65-48 in their recent non-league bout against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY)
Next up, the Tigers play the Clark Cardinals (Inez, KY) in a District 57 bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Paintsville will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record.
