In Saturday's non-league game, the host Covenant Day Lions baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Asheville School Blues.

The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors go into the NCISAA Metrolina game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Metrolina Christian Academy ran past First Assembly Christian (Concord, NC), 8-6, in a league game.

The Blues (3-7) will now prepare for their game against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC). The Rockets go into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, A.C. Reynolds was overwhelmed by Watauga (Boone, NC), 7-3, in a non-league game.
