Florida High School Baseball - Maclay loses to North Florida Christian
April 1, 2014: Tallahassee, FL 32312 In Tuesday's league game, the host North Florida Christian Eagles baseball team scored a nice 10-0 victory over the Maclay Marauders.
The Eagles (14-4) will now prepare for their game against John Paul II Catholic (Tallahassee, FL). The Panthers go into the 3A District 2 game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, John Paul II Catholic was overwhelmed by Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA), 10-7, in a non-league game.
The Marauders (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Altha (Altha, FL). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 2-10 record.
Game Summary
Eagles score 6 runs in the 2nd inning and coast to a 10-0 win in 5. Senior RHP Parker Hamil earns the win on the mound with 4 IP and 6 Ks. Logan Dungey had two hits and Landon Seymour hit a 3 run HR. The Eagles bang out 10 hits overall and play flawless defense for their 7th consecutive victory.
