North Carolina High School Basketball - Carrboro can't hold off Cedar Ridge

The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Carrboro Jaguars to 48 in the Fighting Red Wolves league triumph on Tuesday.

The Fighting Red Wolves now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chapel Hill for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 8. Cedar Ridge will play a Tigers squad coming off a 39-32 non-league loss to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.

Next up, the Jaguars play the South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) in a 2A/1A Conference 5 bout, on Friday, December 10. Carrboro will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 57-50 league loss to North Carolina School of Science & Math (Durham, NC).
