Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX) and the host La Vega Pirates (Waco, TX), saw Mexia's basketball squad overcome La Vega by a tally of 68-52.

With the victory, Mexia improves its record to 33-3 on the campaign. The Black Cats travel to Buna (Buna, TX) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 22.
