September 26, 2014: China Grove, NC 28023 The Mount Pleasant Tigers thwarted the host Carson Cougars football team by a count of 31-15 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Mount Pleasant upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Tigers host Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to encounter the Trojans in a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Northwest Cabarrus lost 59-0 in their recent league outing against Cox Mill (Concord, NC)
With the loss, Carson moves to 2-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to encounter the Falcons in a 3A South Piedmont outing on Friday, October 3. The Falcons go into the outing with a record of 4-1. West Rowan won 21-13 in their recent league outing against South Rowan (China Grove, NC)
