The Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX) basketball nipped the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), 57-51 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Mayfield got by San Elizario (San Elizario, TX), 48-20, in a non-league test.

The Matadors now own a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Elizario for a non-league test on Saturday, December 3. Parkland will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 48-20 non-league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
