The Desert Ridge Jaguars basketball team (Mesa, AZ), was routed 80-58 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ)

The Mountain Lions now sport a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Gilbert for a I Section II match on Friday, December 16. Red Mountain will confront a Tigers team coming off a 47-27 league win over Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Desert Ridge moves to 6-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Perry (Gilbert, AZ) to confront the Pumas in a I Section II match on Friday, December 16. The Pumas enter the match with a record of 7-3. Perry won 63-32 in their recent non-league match against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ)
