The Ironwood Eagles topped the visiting Valley Vista Monsoon basketball team by a final score of 51-43 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ) in a I Section I game, on Tuesday, January 10. Ironwood will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 76-52 league win over Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ).
