In Tuesday's league outing, the Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) basketball squad nipped the host Maize Eagles (Maize, KS), by a margin of 48-45.

The Mustangs (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Salt Hawks go into the Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail Division I outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Hutchinson got by Newton (Newton, KS), 49-39, in a league outing.
