December 18, 2009: Broomfield, CO 80020 In Friday's league outing, the Broomfield Eagles (Broomfield, CO) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fossil Ridge Sabercats (Fort Collins, CO), by a margin of 54-21.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Skyline (Longmont, CO). The Falcons go into the 4A Northern outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Skyline was trounced by Windsor (Windsor, CO), 66-31, in a league outing.
The Sabercats now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Silver Creek for a 4A Northern outing on Tuesday, January 5. Fossil Ridge will encounter a Raptors squad coming off a 73-49 non-league loss to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO). The Raptors record now stands at 3-4.
