September 26, 2008: Carlisle, KY 40311 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Berea Pirates football squad scored a good 42-15 victory over the Nicholas County Bluejackets.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 3. Berea will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Engineers enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 28-13 league win over Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY).
The Bluejackets (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Bourbon County (Paris, KY). The Colonels enter the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Bourbon County was toppled by Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY), 49-14, in a league match.
