The Deer Valley Wolverines basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Leigh Longhorns to 49 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Palma for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Deer Valley will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 60-59 non-league win over San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 4-5.

The Longhorns (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, San Ramon Valley was routed by Palma (Salinas, CA), 60-59, in a non-league contest.
