Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Darien succumbs to Notre Dame
December 30, 2009: Darien, CT 06820 The Notre Dame Green Knights (West Haven, CT) ice hockey bounced the host Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT), 8-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Green Knights now hold a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to New Canaan for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 2. Notre Dame will play a Rams team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Hamden (Hamden, CT). The Rams record now stands at 2-2.
The Blue Wave (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Greenwich (Greenwich, CT). The Cardinals come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Greenwich was ripped by Xavier (Middletown, CT), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
