California High School Basketball - Alemany fells Monroe
January 4, 2012: Mission Hills, CA 91345 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Alemany Warriors (Mission Hills, CA) and the visiting Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), saw Alemany's basketball squad overcome Monroe by a score of 64-46.
With the victory, Alemany improves its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Louisville (Woodland Hills, CA) to play the Royals in a Mission challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Royals come into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Louisville won 53-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Immaculate Heart (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Monday, January 9. Monroe will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Dons come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 49-37 non-league win over Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA).
