The Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) basketball nipped the host Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO), 43-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Sabercats (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Pine Creek got by Rock Canyon (Highlands Ranch, CO), 55-52, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ponderosa for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 14.
