Minnesota High School Basketball - Hopkins crushes Vincent
January 23, 2009: Minnetonka, MN 55305 Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vincent Vikings (Milwaukee, WI), 86-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hopkins upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Royals travel to Marshall (Milwaukee, WI) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 23. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Marshall won 82-72 in their recent league bout against Custer (Milwaukee, WI)
Next up, the Vikings encounter the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 24. Vincent will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Lightning go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 66-62 league loss to Eagan (Eagan, MN).
