West Virginia High School Football - Bluefield overwhelms WestSide
October 18, 2013: Bluefield, WV 24701 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) and the visiting WestSide Renegades (Clear Fork, WV), observed Bluefield's football squad bounce WestSide by a tally of 61-0.
The Beavers now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Hill for a Coalfield AA contest on Friday, October 25. Bluefield will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 27-17 non-league win over Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, WestSide moves to 3-5 on the season. The Renegades travel to Mt. View (Welch, WV) to encounter the Golden Knights in a Coalfield AA outing on Friday, November 1. The Golden Knights go into the outing with a record of 1-6.
