Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX) and the host Nacogdoches Dragons (Nacogdoches, TX), saw Mexia's basketball squad trounce Nacogdoches by a score of 104-58.

With the victory, Mexia improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Black Cats travel to Lakehill Prep (Dallas, TX) to battle the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 4. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Lakehill Prep won 60-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Dallas Academy (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Dragons battle the Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 8. Nacogdoches will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 79-48 non-league win over Tarkington (Cleveland, TX).
