The Corinth Warriors (Corinth, MS) basketball felled the host Amory Panthers (Amory, MS), 61-50 in Friday's league test.

The Warriors (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Nettleton (Nettleton, MS). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Nettleton went down by Mooreville (Mooreville, MS), 72-69, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hickory Flat for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17.
