The Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA) volleyball tipped the host Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Deer Valley upgrades its record to 23-3 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to face the Lions in a Bay Valley outing on Tuesday, April 17. The Lions go into the outing with a record of 0-1.

The Miners now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Rocklin for a Sierra Foothill battle on Tuesday, April 17. Nevada Union will clash with a Thunder team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 10-2.
