Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Hammond Wildcats (Hammond, IN), 62-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bowman Academy upgrades its record to 5-16 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Gary Roosevelt (Gary, IN) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Gary Roosevelt won 69-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Hammond Gavit (Hammond, IN)
