Georgia High School Football - Peachtree Ridge topples Harrison
August 28, 2009: Kennesaw, GA 30152 The Peachtree Ridge Lions (Suwanee, GA) football defeated the host Harrison Hoyas (Kennesaw, GA), 35-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Lions face the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 4. Peachtree Ridge will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 61-7 non-league win over Woodland (Stockbridge, GA).
The Hoyas (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Cherokee (Canton, GA). The Warriors enter the 5-AAAAA bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Cherokee lost by Sequoyah (Canton, GA), 33-7, in a non-league bout.
