The Gilmer Buckeyes football squad scored 43 points and restricted the host Spring Hill Panthers to 7 in the Buckeyes league victory on Friday.

The Buckeyes now possess a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henderson for a 3A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, October 28. Gilmer will play a Lions squad coming off a 42-21 league loss to Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-1.
