Olton Mustangs (Olton, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX), 7-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Olton upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Mustangs host Levelland (Levelland, TX) to battle the Lobos in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 1. The Lobos come into the test with a record of 2-2.

With the defeat, Friona falls to 1-2 on the season. The Chieftans travel to Tahoka (Tahoka, TX) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Thursday, March 3. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 1-2. Tahoka won 11-10 in their recent non-league test against Sundown (Sundown, TX)
