In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Diboll Lumberjacks basketball squad scored a nice 50-38 victory over the Shepherd Pirates.

With the victory, Diboll improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lumberjacks travel to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, November 13. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Jacksonville lost 37-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Palestine (Palestine, TX)

Next up, the Pirates play the New Waverly Bulldogs (New Waverly, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 17. Shepherd will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 76-71 non-league loss to Splendora (Splendora, TX).
