Tennessee High School Basketball - Howard Tech overwhelmed by Franklin County
December 27, 2013: Winchester, TN 37398 The Franklin County Rebels basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers to 41 in the Rebels non-league victory on Friday.
The Rebels now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 4. Franklin County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 75-67 non-league win over White County (Sparta, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 10-5.
The Hustlin' Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkrange (Clarkrange, TN). The Buffaloes go into the non-league bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Clarkrange was crushed by Shelbyville Central (Shelbyville, TN), 51-33, in a non-league bout.
