In Friday's league match, the host Johnson Atomsmashers football squad scored a big 41-7 victory over the Islands Sharks.

With the triumph, Johnson improves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Atomsmashers travel to Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a AAA Region 1B test on Friday, October 17. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 2-4. Southeast Bulloch won 33-0 in their recent league test against Savannah (Savannah, GA)

With the loss, Islands drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Beach (Savannah, GA) to battle the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 1B test on Saturday, October 18. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-5.
