California High School Basketball - St. Monica holds off Sierra Canyon
December 1, 2012: Chatsworth, CA 91311 St. Monica Mariners (Santa Monica, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Sierra Canyon Trailblazers (Chatsworth, CA), 70-66 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Monica upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Brentwood School (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 4. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-0. Brentwood School won 63-23 in their recent non-league bout against Paraclete (Lancaster, CA)
Next up, the Trailblazers play the Milken Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA) in a Alpha bout, on Thursday, December 6. Sierra Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
