October 2, 2009: West Grove, PA 19390 Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA), 32-21 in a league test.
With the triumph, Downingtown East improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Malvern Prep (Malvern, PA) to confront the Friars in a non-league test on Friday, October 9. The Friars come into the test with a record of 1-2. Malvern Prep lost 28-14 in their recent non-league test against Gilman (Baltimore, MD)
With the loss, Avon Grove drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Red devils travel to East (West Chester, PA) to confront the Vikings in a Ches-Mont - National test on Friday, October 9. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-5. East lost 43-0 in their recent league test against Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA)
