January 12, 2011: Lake Mary, FL 32746 The Lake Mary Prep Griffins (Lake Mary, FL) basketball knocked off the visiting Bishop Moore Hornets (Orlando, FL), 76-63 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Griffins (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Christian Academy (Deltona, FL). The Eagles go into the 1A District 5 test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Trinity Christian Academy topped Lighthouse Christian (DeLand, FL), 63-52, in a league test.
The Hornets now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Lake for a non-league test on Saturday, January 15. Bishop Moore will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 71-24 league loss to Olympia (Orlando, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-7.
