Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA), 83-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Taft upgrades its record to 28-2 on the campaign. The Toreadors travel to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 10. The Mavericks come into the bout with a record of 29-4. La Costa Canyon won 81-70 in their recent non-league bout against Washington (Los Angeles, CA)
