Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Side Cougars (Gary, IN), 72-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lake Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN) to encounter the Royals in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cougars encounter the Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. West Side will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
