April 27, 2012: Salem, VA 24153 The Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) baseball trounced the visiting Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA), 10-0 in Friday's league contest.

Levi Bower and Erik Gaynor had Auburn's only hits. The Eagles did have a couple of defensive highlights, a terrific over-the-shoulder catch by centerfielder Ford Chrisley to take away an extra basse hit in the 5th and rightfielder Cody McNeil made a headsup play, fielding a one-hop, line drive and firing it to first for a 9-3 out to end the 5th.
