The Elgin Wildcats football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Giddings Buffaloes to 29 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Manor for a 4A Region II District 16 battle on Friday, September 23. Elgin will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 34-14 non-league win over Taylor (Taylor, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-3.

Coming up next, the Buffaloes play the Cornerstone Christian Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 22. Giddings will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record.
