The North Marion Huskies football team (Farmington, WV), was beaten 50-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV)

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Hampshire was beaten by Preston (Kingwood, WV), 22-13, in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fairmont for a Big Ten challenge on Friday, September 5. North Marion will meet a Polar Bears team coming off a 28-7 league loss to Byrd (Clarksburg, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 0-1.
