October 11, 2008: Benton, KY 42025 The Marshall County Marshals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Allen County Patriots to 0 in the Marshals non-league victory on Saturday.
The Marshals now have a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calloway County for a non-league game on Monday, October 13. Marshall County will confront a Lakers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY). The Lakers record now stands at 6-14.
The Patriots (17-13) will now prepare for their game against Barren County (Glasgow, KY). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 5-17 record. In their last game, Barren County dropped by Logan County (Russellville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league game.
