In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) basketball squad nipped the visiting Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS), by a margin of 59-58.

The Bulldogs (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Center Hill got by Hardin County (Savannah, TN), 53-36, in a non-league outing.

The Braves now own a 11-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trezevant for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 29. Tishomingo County will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 57-50 league loss to Douglass (Memphis, TN). The Bears record now stands at 2-4.
