Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Fayetteville Pirates (Fayetteville, WV), 2-0 in a non-league game.

The Timberwolves now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to George Washington for a Mountain State game on Tuesday, October 11. Spring Valley will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 32-5.

The Pirates (4-13) will now prepare for their game against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Red Devils enter the non-league game with a 2-14 record. In their last game, Oak Hill dropped by Montcalm (Montcalm, WV), 2-1, in a non-league game.
